We OUT

The day after Christmas Terry loaded all the rest our our belongings on the moving truck. He left a couple of suitcases for me and the kids to get by with for the week until we were all in Charlotte together, but everything else was loaded, even the animals . . .

The cats were in crates in the back and the dogs were in the middle/front. Cherry ended up riding in the cab with Terry because she is a basket case and couldn't handle being back there with out a human in the car. She had resorted to eating the cushion they were sleeping on when Terry decided she would do better in the cab with him . . .

He drove 16 hours every day. Having to stop every 4 hours or so to give the animals a potty break

At night he checked into Motel 6 so he could bring the pets in and give them a chance to wander . . .

Cruising through the Mojave Desert . . .

Welcome to New Mexico . . .

Welcome to Arizona . . .

Welcome to Oklahoma . . .

Welcome to Tennessee . . .

He drove through Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina
It took him 4 days at 16 hours a day.
By the time he pulled into our house here he was done! In fact he let the cats out and just turned them loose. Good bye and good riddance! One of them promptly ran away, and the other hid for two days. When he told the kids one of the cats was gone they started praying and sure enough the cat showed up a couple days later.
So in the end Terry and all four animals were waiting for the kids and I when we arrived New Years Eve.
