there is a scripture and some challenge like find a person to do something nice for today, or show your parents you love them and pick a room in the house to clean up, and puzzle piece for everyday, that will eventually look like the manger scene. It was the perfect thing for my little stockings.

Way to Go Janie Babe!
So Jillian's blessing was a couple Sundays ago. And I really didn't get any good pictures . . . Sad! Terry leaves about 2 hours before I do, so I am scrambling in the morning trying to get everyone ready and out the door in time, so pictures before we left weren't going to happen. Then after her blessing we all split to go our separate ways to classes and meetings and so no pictures happened then. The ones I have are just my attempt when we got home before the kids all shed there church duds.
ANYWAY, the blessing was great Terry did an awesome job as usual AND if you can believe it, I actually made that fabulous dress (pat myself on the back!) 
Actually I had my mom (mega seamstress extraordinaire) hanging over my shoulder every step of the way saying, cut here, pin this, pull this string, sew here, so I guess in reality I just demonstrated my incredible ability to follow instruction :)

Caramel Apples, a Halloween must! We melted colored chocolate for the kids to drizzle over the apples and make them cute, yeah, drizzle is not a word they understand
Nana came over early on Halloween with fun crafts and yummy lunch, mummy dogs and orange floats, Thanks Nana! I did make orange dinner for Halloween, another must, but again no pictures, it was cute though and yummy . . . just pretend again!

We found out our kids really don't like trick-or-treating, who knew there were kids alive you had to coax into going to the next door. Next year we will get them all dressed up take pictures, hit the neighbors house then come home and watch Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and eat all the candy we bought for the trick-or-treaters who never showed up at our door!!!
