Halloween

Since we knew we would be moving we didn't even bother with a garden this year. It was sad and kind of nice at the same time. Gardens are a lot of work. But I missed out on all those yummy veggies and my pumpkin patch.
We headed to the local patch this year. We told the kids they could pick out any pumpkin they wanted, the only rule was they had to be able to carry it to the car and to the house on their own . . .

I've got some tough kids!

Raegan and Janie were on a special girls trip in Seattle with my mom and sister. They got to go to a patch up there and brought their pumpkins home with them.

Let the carving begin . . .

Making pumpkin pie . . .yum

I sorted and roasted every single one of those seeds . . .yum again (I love fall food)

Notice Dalyn's barfing pumpkin (teenagers are so fun!)
