September brought:

School hair cuts . . .

Mr. Smar T. Pants showed up again . . .

He talked to the kids about how to be successful in school . . .

We used candy bars again, this year we emphasised "Look"ing out for your family cuz family is number 1, Using a "Big Hunk" of time and getting your work done well and right the first time, "U-No" about the gospel, be bold enough to share that knowledge, Only keep "Skor" with yourselves, Find "Joy" in your work and school, Don't procrastinate and get your work done like you have "Fire" in your pants (Hot Tamales), Sometimes its a "Rocky Road", Heavenly Father wants to hear about it and help, don't forget to include Him.

It was great. Terry gave them Father's Blessings and they were ready!

For the first day . . .

She is darling . . .

The big kids were really excited about Janie being at school with them! They were feeling very protective of her . . .

She was SO excited and nervous all at the same time! At least she didn't throw up this year :) . . .

Can't believe he is in second grade already . . .

Big ole SIXTH grader, holy moly . . .

Potty trained Jilli! Hallelujah! This was her reward, a ride on the ponies . . .

Got to do some service for the church, always a good time . . .

AND . . . we bought a boat!!

Yup, we did. Terry is the Jedi Master of good deals.

Boat runs great, is in good shape and we got it for $1,200!!!!

We enjoyed 3 lake trips to the lake with it before we had to get it ready for winter. I really thought we took more pictures, but I can't find them.

Jilli started the 3 year old class at preschool . . .

Terry went on a couple of field trips with the kids.

This one is to Crater Lake . . .

I really think we have the best elementary school in the area!

They have a whole fleet of bikes for the kids. they put on a cyclo-cross event every year, they do an entire week of bicycle safety for the 5th and 6th graders and take them riding all over town. 

For this field trip, they organized a 7 mile trail ride that ended in a BBQ and swimming. Raegan even got to go!
