More pumpkin carving.
Quick look at Jilli's little green jack o' lantern. This is about the only picture we got of it before she carved it herself . . .
Oh, there it is, take a good look . . .
Then Jilli started carving . . .
And carving . . .
Ta da!
She sure was proud!
The other kids all loved theirs too . . .
Spooky front door . . .
And, since they always look better lite up . . .
Ryan's . . .
Dalyn's . . .
Raegan's . . .
Janie's . . .
Mom and Dad's . . .
And of course Jilli's . . .
That morning I made mummy french toast (thank you pintrest)
Jilli had a little party at preschool . . .
For lunch that day I packed the kids a fun Halloween lunch that included; witch fingers, zombie boogers, bit o' blood, jack o' lantern orange and spider-dogs with an orange drink to wash it down . . .
After school snack, bloody band aids . . .
The kids weren't so sure about that one . . .
And that night we had our dinner in a pumpkin, spooky Halloween dinner . . .
Dalyn wanted to be a navy seal.
This is what we can up with . . .
Ryan the Hulk.
I won't let my kids where masks so when I vetoed his hulk mask he as a little distraught. My plan was to paint his face green, but alas in the final hour I realized we didn't have the green face paint I thought we had.
I don't think he was too worried about it . . .
Jilli the lion . . .
Janie the mermaid . . .
I think Raegan's costume was my favorite this year.
She is really into the Little House on the Praire books right now. I think she is actually a pioneer at heart and born in the wrong century. Most all of her play includes pioneers or orphans . . .
They all looked pretty darn cute though . . .
When we got home, we let them dig into their buckets while we watched The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown . . .
It was another great Halloween!
