Terry's Birthday was another October event!
Birthday breakfast . . .
After he got home from work we headed to the park for a picnic.
One of Dalyln's best friends shares a birthday with Terry, so we invited him along too.
If you look close at this next picture you will see a tiny boy shape near the top of the tree. I had to include it because they were going SO high!
Terry's favorite treat is a maple bar, so I tried my hand at homemade ones. They turned out pretty good, super sweet, but good.
After the boys stuffed their faces with overly sweet maple bars they decided to have a spin on the tire swing . . . not a good choice!
No body barfed but I think it was a close call!
Swingin' baby . . .
After the picnic I handed out clues for some letter boxes hidden in Klamath . . .
Letter boxing is a lot like GEO caching, except you are lead to an actual box. The box will have a log book to sign and also a stamp you are supposed to stamp your letter box "passport" with and record where and when you found the box.
It is a lot of fun . . .
It was a perfect day! Beautiful weather, hiking around K-Town with my favorite people!
October also brought some yummy fall goodies . . .
Lots of roller blading and reading . . .
Goofiness . . .
Domino's became the favorite past time . . .
And we made a last minute trip to Portland to watch the last Timbers game of the season.
Terry's company sponsors the Timbers so Terry requested tickets a while ago. Along with the tickets the company also threw in some super fun gift boxes for the kids . . .
We also had access to a field seat if we wanted it and a field pass. This included a buffet and access to the sidelines while the players warmed up . . .
It was a super fun, quick trip.
We got home just in time for HALLOWEEN!
