August was super awesome too!

Cassie came to stay with us for the entire month again! It was so great!

Our first adventure was rafting on the Rouge River . . .

Went to our local county fair . . .

Made "dirt babies" . . .

They ended up pretty cute too! The kids had fun cutting their "hair" for about two weeks before I couldn't stand them on the counter anymore and threw them away :-/ . . .

there was a cool fireman course the kids did over and over again . . .

Little side show, Raegan and Ryan were chosen as helpers . . .

Stuffing our faces with fair hot dogs and lemonaid . . .

Just being silly . . .

After it was all said and done, we decided it was a most excellent month . . .

When it was time to take Cassie home, Terry loaded up the three big kids and spent a few days on Cassies 900 acers, helping build their house! Well Terry helped with the house, the kids . . .

Played with horses . . .

Collected animal bones and turned it into armor . . .

And just had fun with their cousins!

Then we were officially ready to get the school year started!
