So I decided spring break would be a good time for me to switch the boys and girls rooms.
When we bought this house, our intention was to only live in it for 3 years. We needed someplace to live while we built our dream house (that we had already purchased the land, plans and front door for).
We only had three kids when we moved in here. We put the boys in the big room and the Raegan in the little room. Five years later and two more kids, plus the three we stared with are much bigger, we are busting at the seams!
We (okay, I) have been planning this move for about three months now. Terry was on board and supportive, then found out he would have to be out of town for two full days smack in the middle of all this. awesome.
So I have been stripping and sanding and priming and repainting two dressers, sanding and priming and repainting trim in two rooms, repainting closets and walls in two rooms, sanding and staining bunk beds, painting three new beds Terry is building AND trying to fix meals and keep my house clean enough so it is not a health hazard (yeah it has been that bad at moments) and enough laundry done so my kids don't have to run around, well, with no clothes on AND trying to keep spring break fun . . .by myself.
On Monday we went to the circus, on Tuesday we went swimming at the ymca, on Wednesday we spent three hours at the children's museum . . .me and five kids. Remembering that Raegan is supposed to be getting baptized on Sat. (that has since changed for multiple conflicts) AND Dalyn has pine wood derby on Tuesday and his car still looks like a hunk of 2x4
I'm not complaining (okay maybe a little) it has been fun, but crazy and stressful, and I need a break from my spring break! and I need a maid! and a nanny! and a bubble bath!
:)

Sara, I think you missed the "break" part of Spring Break. ;) I hope you get a chance to de-stress soon. (hugs)
I seriously love you. You accomplish more in one day than most people do in three weeks. I'm tired just from reading your blog....hang in there though, it will be so worth it! You should take a bubble bath though:)
