Here are some fun facts about D-man
He LOVES everything science, especially molecular structure. He can carry on a conversation and ask really intelligent questions about atoms and bonds and it's amazing!
He is not a sugar, sweet kinda guy. He will pass up a piece of candy or cookie more times then he will actually eat them.
His favorite food is anything seafood, especially shrimp and crab, he's a lover of everything pasta.
He has two volumes, loud and LOUDER! Really this kid lets himself be heard. And he can TALK, and talk and talk and talk, and talk . . . you think I exaggerate . . . Ooooohh No. I have never seen any young person that can seriously have some sort of sound coming out of his mouth AT.ALL.TIMES!!!
He has an amazing imagination. The stories and games he gets started with the kids are ingenious. Of course he is always the boss and don't even try to tell him how you would like to play, cuz it ain't happinin! He is definitely the oldest in that way! And he is getting better. He tries really hard to keep his emotions under control and I can tell has he gets older it is getting easier for him.
He is VERY competitive, but doesn't really like to compete.
He is very tender with his baby sisters. He and Jilli have such a cute relationship. Lately Janie has been his buddy and he and Raegan have always been powerfully connected. Ryan is his brother and they are far enough in age that they get along really well. Dalyn comes up with all the cool games and Ryan is just happy to be on board.
He is afraid of everything. He reminds me of his mama at that age. Lights must be on everywhere he goes, and don't even think of asking him to take more then two steps outside the house by himself at night!
He is VERY concerned about not breaking in the law. He asked me the other day if it would be alright if he drew a picture of Plankton(from spongebob) on a piece of paper, he was worried that would be plagiarizing since Plankton has a copyright. Also the other day I locked us out of the house, so we were going to try to break in the bathroom window and he was worried someone would see us and think we were robbers. I don't need a speedometer because I have Dalyn checking for me constantly.
He can't stand the thought of someone or something being hurt, it almost sends him into panics.
He has a STRONG gag reflex, he is such is fathers son!
He is very obedient and really doesn't give us many problems with what we ask him to do . . . for the most part. He is hard to get focused, unless HE has decided to be focused, then he can get his chores and homework done in 10 minutes flat.
School and study come so easily for him, including piano, he really is just great at everything he does!
We love him so much and are so blessed that he is a part of our family, and the oldest and such a great example to us all!
Happy Birthday Dalyn! We Love You!
