Dalyn and Raegan having b-days 3 days apart makes for some good times.
Here is a re-cap of Dalyn's day . . .
B-day breakfast, egg and bacon English muffin sandwich . . .
Dinner was popcorn shrimp, homemade mac and cheese and broccoli . . .
And here he is being thrilled to open all the thoughtful gifts his sibling wrapped up for him two seconds ago. Things like already sharpened pencil from the pencil box and a used eraser for the end of it, he was a good sport . . .
And he did score a build your own robot kit and some Lego's . . .
Cupcakes and ice cream . . .

Raegan Day went like this . . .
Nana showed up bright and early and surprised us all with a birthday breakfast at Denny's (Rae's request)
Dinner was salmon, artichokes and fruit salad . . .in her swimming suit, and we didn't even make her change . . .
Hopefully she is not scarred for life because of the lack of photos I have of this day.
This year was "friends" party year. I told the kids they could have separate parties and invite three friends each or combine and invite everyone they could think of. Of course they went with the latter, just like I hoped ;)
We did a carnival theme with tons of games like bean bag toss, disk drop, bowling, balloon darts . . .
Art table and tattoo and body jewel table . . .
As the kids did the different stations they earned tickets that they could cash in here . . .

And of course tons of food and treats . . .
And a carnival must . . . cotton candy!

We only had about 30 kids show up so we had TONZ of cotton candy stuff left over. The next day we set up the machine in our driveway and used up the rest. We ended up with about 25 bags of cotton candy. Since it has a shelf life of forever we figure it's great food storage :)
Everyone had a really good time, especially our birthday kids! Thanks to everybody who helped with the booths and running this craziness, you're the best!
