Eight is Great!

And this girl is the GREATEST!!!

I can't believe she is eight years old!

Raegan is such a sweetheart. She is always willing to help out whenever needed, and usually with no complaining. She loves to be the little mother whenever allowed.

Her favorite games are anything where she can be the adult . . .school teacher, mom, dance instructor, art teacher

She adores her little sisters and is always commenting on how cute they talk or how they mimic everything she does.

She LOVES everything artsy. She will cut paper and glue and color all day . . .getting her to clean up is a whole different issue. I do have to say she does pretty good most of the time, when there have been very clear expectations set before the projects even begin.

Her favorite toy is her easy bake oven. We made her a little cook book that doesn't require those crazy expensive kits, so she is forever making cakes and brownies and pizza in her little stove.

She likes seafood and LOVES sugar! She could eat candy and cake and junk all day everyday!

She likes to perform but gets very nervous. She is shy and quiet around people she doesn't know and she is especially collected around adult authority figures. She always wants to be perceived as the well behaved, very mature girl. She is eight going on 25.

She is a rule keeper. If she knows there is a rule to be followed in some public place, like school, she will keep it with perfection. When we were shopping for school supplies, listed was a 24 pack of crayons, she about had a heart attack when I suggested we get her a 48 pack! And we had to go to two different stores to get her a large PINK eraser, not a white one, because her list said "pink"

She loves to be outdoors. Whenever it snows she will be the first in all her snow gear playing in the yard. She doesn't necessarily need company either. She can play all by herself happy as can be. She loves to go on walks and bike rides.

She is definitely our little athlete. She loves to run and be active. She loves to compete in team activities, and winning is fun for her but not the main goal.

From the day she was born people have commented to me on how beautiful she is, and I agree she is SO beautiful, but what I wish all people could see is that with this sweetheart it is WAY more then just skin deep!
