Once Upon a Time . . .

. . . there was this guy and this gal who had a dream. Castles in the sky with lots of grass for the kids to run in, AND no castle payments.

They made a giant move to a little place called K-town and started running full steam ahead toward the dream. They had a fairy god mother who made it possible for them to purchase the most beautiful piece of property in K-town, they had a friend who could make a blue print of their castle, AND the guy worked at this place that specializes in front doors for castles, AWESOME!!!! They had it made . . . or so they thought.

After about three years of life kicking their butts then serving it back on a platter, a sad realization set in, there would be no castle, well there COULD be a castle but the no castle payments would not be a reality if they took that road, BUT if they sold the most beautiful piece of land, AND the front door they could live in a . . . well, a hovel . . . but it would be paid for! There would be no cake and eating it too in this story.

So the land was listed (for about a year now), the front door is a burden it needs to find a nice home.
Our hope in this tale is that someone out there, knows someone, who knows someone who might be interested in a beautiful front door for their castle. Here it is in all its grandeur . . .

Now for the shocking part,

This door retails for over $40,000 (yes that is four zeros), it whole sales for $20,000, gasps all around I know.

We did not pay near this for it, but YOU could buy it from us, then resell it at whole sale and make a little cash! We have no idea where to go, this is not something we can sell on ebay or even Craig's list, we need help and our prayer is someone out there will know someone who is in the building business in like California or New York or someplace where lots of really rich people live and there might be a market for something like this.

It's a long shot, but we are getting desperate. We would still love to build our dream home and put it in there but we have come to the reality that will not be happening, not that and have what we really want, which is no house payment.

SO if you or anyone you know is interested, REALLY interested let me know and give me some way to contact you so I can fill you in on all the little details, like what we are hoping to get, shipping info etc. . .

thanks friends

Good for you guys. Most people would go ahead and buy the castle anyways, even if it meant some-what manageable house payments with barely enough money left over for utilities and food. Keep going full steam ahead. Life never turns out the way we plan, but if we submit to the Lord, he gives us something 1,000 times better than we could have ever dreamed up ourselves. I don't know anyone who would want a beautiful door, but I'll keep my ears and eyes open. :)

Good Luck Sara. I know it's been long in the works!

Also fun Christmas and everything! I'm anxious to see the stockings. I just took on the project to make Duckworth family ones for my mother-in-laws birthday. I'm planning to make 17. I think they will be pretty simple! Talk to you soon!
