Happy Birthday to you!!!!!

Guess who is getting old! Terry turned 33 on the 12th. We had a pretty low key day. The morning started out nice. He slept in until about 9, then we woke him with breakfast in bed, the kids of course ate more of that then he did, but that is part of the fun, right? Then they got to bombard him with the gifts we spent all day the day before wrapping and hiding, just a basket full of things for his desk at work. It was fun, and harder to keep Ryan from delivering all the gifts early then actually keeping them hidden.
Then we went to church. I thought I was being sneaky to put the ribs in the oven before we left. The master plan was to come home at 2 and have his birthday dinner of BBQ ribs, baked potato, and salad. Then we could do the whole cake and ice cream thing early so the kids would have time to detox before bed, but being the responsible person that he is, on the way out the door, when he noticed the oven was on . . . yep, you know the end of that one, so we came home to raw ribs. But never fear we have recently discovered the miracles of the pressure cooker! The other day I went from dry beans in the bag to chili on the table in 30 minutes, totally not lying! ANYWAY, we put the ribs in the cooker and in 20 minutes V-walah fall off the bone ribs. I broiled them for a few minutes to really get the Q-sauce to stick, overall it was yummy and even though almost foiled, it all worked out in the end, but of course anything that ends in cake and ice cream can not be bad no matter what it is!

But we love Terry!!! He is the bestest! Best hubby and daddy and bacon bringer and dog trainer(yeah well maybe not so much on that one)! Seriously though, I find myself looking at my life and just feeling so blessed that I have him. He truly is the greatest, most compassionate, caring, selfless, helpful, kind hearted, giving, understanding, sweetest, spiritually minded person I have ever known! Did I go to far, well even if I did it is all true!!!
WE LOVE YOU BABE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Terry! You don't look a day older than the day we met you! It sounds like you had a great time. I have been meaning to get a pressure cooker. Sounds like a good investment.

Happy Birthday Terry!!! and good save on the dinner! If it were me we would have ended up having mac and cheese with sliced hot doggies in it. YUM!! (but that would be my normal birthday dinner anyway, I love hot dogs in mac and cheese!) I digress, happy happy birthday Terry! I agree, you are a great guy, and I hope you had a great day!
