Sorry for all the hazy pictures. They all came off Terry's phone?
We headed to my parents house to ring in the new year.
We were set for the evening with lots of games . . .
Party stuff . . .
Even Grandma got in on the craziness . . .
The evening actually went by SO fast!
Thanks to this little game I found on pintrest.
You mark balloons with different times. We started at 8:00, then every hour the kids break a balloon, to get a piece of paper that says what we are supposed to do that hour.
We made noise makers one hour . . .
Played bingo one hour. When they got a bingo line they got to come to the prize table and pick a prize . . .
We did our time capsule one of the hours and made goals for the new year, finished our Christmas Happiness book for 2012, one of the hours. Every activity took so long that by the time we had just finished it was already time to open the next balloon.
there was so much going on, everyone stayed awake to ring in the new year.
As soon as the clock struck twelve though, Terry and I started turning into pumpkins. We headed home right away and had everyone snoozing in bed, including our selves by about 12:20 :)
Our first dinner of 2013 was a fun fondue party . . .
And we were ready to tackle all things 2013!
