Christmas!

Every night in December we did our traditional stockings. Little stockings that have a scripture and puzzle piece for our nativity picture. this year we added questions about the nativity story and had the scriptures answer the questions. It was awesome!
Christmas Eve we had yummy cheesy veggie soup and homemade rolls, yummy!

Of course jammies . . .

then we drove around to look at all the cool lights close to our neighborhood, read the Christmas story, then off to bed :)

Santa came!
This was the first year I didn't have to wake the kids up! Raegan was standing by our bed jumping on one foot then the other at 5:30. We let her wake everyone up and let the fun begin . . .

Sibling gifts first of course!
Dalyn made Jilli a fishing game . . .

Jilli (Terry and I) made Janie a hopscotch rug . . .

Janie made Ryan straw rockets . . .

Ryan made Raegan a name sign for above her bed . . .
And Raegan (and Terry) made Dalyn a periscope. . .

Check him out spying from behind the couch . . .little creepy eh?
Santa was good to them this year . . .

Santa brought Jilli a stamp set . . .
And Ryan some Gak . . .

Santa is DUMB!!! . . .

Dalyn also got a moose call! Remember that thing about Santa? . . . yep, DUMB!
Traditional sugar cereal breakfast, a rare treat in the Davis house . . .
And Terry taught Ryan the fine art of shaving with the fake shave stuff he found in his stocking . . .

Later that afternoon we headed to Nana and Papas for games and presents and a yummy Christmas day dinner . . .
I love Christmas! It was wonderful again this year!
As a family we really tried hard to do things Christ centered. In all I think it was a huge success!
