Seattle

At the beginning of the month I took the girls on a little get away to visit my sister.
I gave them a little card inviting them on this most excellent adventure. They walked around with it all week, just as I had hoped . . .
I told Raegan that we would be leaving when she got home from school but in reality I let her teacher in on my gig and she helped me surprise Raegan by announcing at the very beginning of class that "Surprise, you are leaving RIGHT NOW!" . . .
We loaded up and drove 5 hours to Portland. We were able to stay with some friends and visit cousins. Then onto Seattle . . .(I need to learn to take better pictures)

It was pretty cold while we were there and actually snowed a couple of times. It didn't stop us too much though. We visited Pike's Market and watched them throw some fish . . .

Visited the most disgusting wall of gum I have ever seen . . .

The girls even added a little of their DNA . . .Tried a lot of new foods; Brazilian, Greek, Vietnamese. Had some yummy treats . . .

We did hair and painted nails . . .

Lots of trips to the store and a couple of parks . . .

And spent a lot of time playing with this fuzzy guy . . .And just being silly . . .

It was a great little get away for the girls and I. One that will need to be repeated . . . a lot :)
