The little girls and I have been shimmying around it all day, because I couldn't bring myself to kill it . . . can you imagine the nasty CRUNCH . . . bllllaaaahhhh!!!! So I was working up enough courage to blast it with oven cleaner when the kids came home and not five seconds later, the little gem is IN MY HOUSE!!!! in Ryan's bug catcher but still!!

After a swift 86 out the front door Ryan explained,
"But it's my new pet spider! I am going to teach him to do tricks and spy on people!"
Thanks a lot Uncle Torey ;)

It's a wolf spider. Our girls have 2 of them in the garage that they feed and have named Jack & Annie. I don't mind them so much because they eat the NASTY hobo spiders we get around here. :)
This is Shirley used to be Baker and I've seen this same kind of spider twice in my yard and definitely creepy but one of the better spiders to have around the OUTSIDE of your house. I totally feel your pain though. And I hope you don't mind me secretly stalking your blog. You have a darling family:-)
Just kidding. It's a cat back. Eeeww! I hate spiders.
