And if only I hadn't gotten THREE MONTHS behind in blogging *sigh*
Well let it begin shall we :)
I am doing the oldest events first and work my way to the most current
In August Terry had to go work the Tradition which is a part of the Champions tour, which is part of the PGA only for the oldies ;)
The kids got to play a little golf and quickly learn the viewing etiquette of pro golf . . .
Oh you don't know either, allow me to enlighten you! When its the pros turn to hit the ball there must be ABSOLUTE silence by every breathing thing within 200 yards. They even have guys in charge of silencing you at the appropriate times.
Lets take a moment and compare this to BASEBALL, where every person can scream and yell all the while a tiny ball is being hurled at the batter at around 100 miles per hour and that guy can still whack it out of the park, NOPE not the golf pros, there must be SILENCE while he walks calmly up to a ball that is going NO WHERE until he whacks it, then you can golf clap . . .what? do I sound damaged? well talk to me after you haul 5 kids all under the age of 9 to a pro golf event and see how you fair . . .super fun :/
And sadly I have no pictures to share with you of this joyous event because the golf pros view all cameras held by any person, equivalent to paparazzi. Security getting into the event was tighter then the airport all cameras and cell phones were confiscated. crazy.
Really it was pretty fun, the food was good and the kids had a blast! It was just a little stressful for the mom :)
While we were there we had the chance to go to a fun museum . . .Where the wildlife was way to confident and creepy . . .
And the kids found out that chores and games back in the 1800s are WAY more fun then they are now . . .
