So we started the school year off with a bang. Terry and I put together this way awesome Family Night where we introduced the kids to this fella . . .
Mr. Smar T. Pants. He is this genius guy with all these cool tips on how the kids could really be successful in school and each point was represented by a candy bar. Like making sure they spend a "BIG HUNK" of time doing their work right the first time, and making sure they only keep "SKOR" with themselves and no one else, and their "PAY DAY" would come in great test scores and good friends. I think we had 10 candy bars that all represented something. The kids soaked it all up . . .
After Mr. Pants left Terry came back and gave the kids all their fathers blessings which were just wonderful and awesome, and then we chopped up all the candy for the treat. It was great!The first day came and they got all spruced up and let me take a few pictures . . .
Don't talk to me about the socks . . .I tried really, really tried :/
Then we all walked to school together . . .
Raegan is in second grade . . .
Ryan started Kindergarten. They only have all day kindergarten here and I am really not a fan of that so I worked it out with the school to pick him up at noon every day.
He did get to stay the entire day for the first two, which included a ride home on the bus! Thrill of his life!
Dalyn is in fourth grade and was sure I understood that I could take a picture of them all outside the school but once we were inside pictures of him were strictly forbidden!

Ryans teacher just started sending books home for him, the first book he took back to school the very next day and told her it was way to easy and he needed a harder one . . .yay for Lil Scholars! Janie is making all kinds of friends and loves art. Jilli just tags along with where ever we are with a huge smile for anyone and everyone!

So fun/exciting/sad/motivating to see my little babies growing up so much, so fast!
