Well Ryan was at it again! I swear I think the kid has a death wish. His latest was this last Sunday. The kids and I were hanging out in my room, I was printing things off the computer for them to color, he was sitting on the desk next to me and after I handed him his pile of papers he jumped off and WHAM. I have no idea what he hit his head on but without getting too graphic but to give you a clear picture, I had to clean several areas of the floor and my arms, super scary!
About three weeks ago our Jack cat, who is actually Jackie had three babies. I am not a crazy cat fan but you can't help but think they are cute. So if you want a bitty kitty for your fam, they will be available in about 3 weeks!
I ran him into the bathroom and laid him down then pulled out the staple of all first aid kits, TEA BAGS, that right folks no mommy medical kit should be without them. I don't know how they work but they stop bleeding, even bad bleeding SO FAST. We had a two tea bag situation, just get them damp and apply pressure with in a few minutes we had the situation under control. Terry was gone and I couldn't get a hold of him so that made it a little more scary for me. When he finally came home we were to bandaging. You can't exactly put a band aid on a head wound and it was much bigger then any band aid we had, so insert turban. He wore it for 4 days then we just watched him really closely.
Now whenever there is a crash from the other room I call "Ryan?" and even through his tears from whatever he most recently injured, he says "It's okay, I not bleeding!" Crazy kid!
Here they are at less then one week

What type of tea bag? Any type? I've never heard that before! And I hope he is feeling better! Nothing freaks me out more than blood. Blech! And you should read the lesson about Wilford Woodruff in the "Presidents of the Church" Sunday School manual. Maybe you've got a miniature Willford on your hands!
Cute kitties. I LOVE kitties. unfortunately Glen is allergic. They are so cute. Especially when they're at the poky-up tail phase. I LOVE that phase!
Just regular Lipton tea bags. I think the ones usually used to make ice tea.
Ha poor kid. I think there's one in every family so don't feel too bad. Blake told me all about the tea bags so we went and bought a box to have on hand because Blake is actually pretty accident prone with all of his little project. And I'm not gonna lie, if he ever did anything to himself that needed stitches, I'd just do it myself because I work at the place where they do them all day long and I'm sure as heck not paying what people pay for them! Cute baby kittens, I'll tell Blake I want all three and see what he says...:)
No I don't want a pooping rodent (hee hee) but Bekah would love to come spend some time with them! And your kids are welcome to come play in the sandbox any day-just drop em off and close the gate! Seriously though, come by some day and let the kids play, my kids love your kids!
