We did make two family gingerbread houses but I didn't get any pictures of that. They turned out cute and of course five seconds after they were on display the strange nibble monsters we have trouble with started their alterations. By Christmas they were pretty much just walls and a roof.

We took the kids sledding.

Ryan refused to walk up the hill, so Terry pulled him up everytime.

Raegan and Dalyn were really into it but

Ryan and Graeson were done after a few runs and content to stay inside and drink about a gallon of hot chocolate.

Dalyn and Raegan found "the hill of death" It was very steep and they had a blast showing us how big they were, and that they were not afraid of such a steep run.

The couple of times we took Graeson down she was in the front and totally got the worst of all the snow that came over the edge,

I don't know how much of a sledding fan she will be from now on.

Here are the kids the Sunday before in all their Christmas duds. Doesn't Dalyn look thrilled?

We had a hard time getting Ryan to stop flexing so we had to take a "muscle" picture to get it out of his system, you can see how well that worked :)!

After the cookies were baked we let them taste test to make sure they were good enough for Santa they all loved this plan,

except Ryan, and who knows what his deal is half the time.

Here he is showing the size of the cookie he is going to make.

Maybe that is why he is so peeved, the end product was not up to his standard.

We went to my mom's house for a WAY yummy feast. We helped with some of the preparations before, but she did tons more and put on a delicious and beautiful production.

Ryan's favorite was the jello salads.

And Graeson was a dessert fan.

Then they opened Christmas jammies,

then we headed home for egg nog and the Christmas story. They were asleep 2 seconds after their heads hit the pillow.

Christmas morning they woke up to the loot then we headed over to papa and nanas for more. That morning we set out an extra stocking for the new addition and they had to figure out, why there was an extra stocking I think Raegan was the first to connect all the dots and fill everyone else in on the new baby.

When we went to papa and nanas the first thing we did was hide a bun in their oven and then sent them on a hunt to find their gift. We ended up having to play hot and cold then when they found the bun much prompting had to ensue before they got it. It was pretty funny! And of course they were all thrilled!

We rang in the new year at my papa and nana's. Ryan and Graeson were snoozing for the momentous event but Dalyn and Raegan made it the whole time. Then we did the traditional banging of pots and pans outside, one of the kids favorites.

Here are some random pictures of the kids
Ryan decided he was Harry Potter

Dalyn discovered the joys of Dr. Mario (yes we still have the original Nintendo)

Raegan is just cute!

And sweet Baby Jane
We had an awesome Christmas and New Year and hope that you all did too!
