More Catch up

At the end of the school year I volunteered to go with Dalyn and all the other sixth graders on a bike field trip. The elementary school has a huge fleet of bikes that the kids get to use all the time. Raegan used these bikes for her triathlon. This time the sixth grade classes jumped on the bikes and headed to our local theater downtown to watch a super cute show about Thomas Edison. By the end of the trip the kids ended up having biked about 11 miles. It was a fun day with my boy!

Ryan's second grade teacher does something called "mystery reader". All week the kids are given clues about the mystery person that will be coming on Friday to read to them. Terry and I both had a turn and Raegan asked if she could get in on the fun. So all week the teacher gave clues about Raegan and Friday afternoon she got to go to his class and read them a story. She chose Boomers SnowDay. At the end of the story she passed out otter pops to the class . . .

When Terry and I were in Florida for our anniversary trip (I'll post about that later) we spent a day in Epcot. After one of the rides (can't remember which now) we walked through this cute gift shop and picked up a book for the boys. Its called Show off and has all kinds of fun activities for kids. Dalyn spent one afternoon working on one of the projects . . .

I have been in an organizing/redecorating kick at my house. I saw this idea on pintrest. Paint the door that leads to the garage a fun color! So I chose yellow.
Took the door down, spent the whole day getting both sides looking amazing, Terry hung the door back up and . . .
I HATED it!!!!
SO I had Terry take it off again and I repainted white and hung it back up

I don't have an after picture, but rest assured there is no yellow door in my kitchen :)
