Father and Sons

This years Father and Sons was another success!

This year Terry and the boys decided they weren't going to bring a tent at all and sleep under the stars, something everyone needs to do at least once in their life!

These are the only pictures they came home with, but the report was they all had a great time! 

 And as is our tradition while the boys were away the girls played! And I guess I shouldn't complain about the lack of pictures from the boys end because I took exactly . . .none :-/

Luckily my friend took a bunch so a snatched these from her :)

The girls spent the evening playing in the yard.

Raegan is obsessed with all things pioneer.

She had it planned the week before, the girls were all going to dress up as pioneers and sleep outside and eat outside. She even requested that I put their dinner in a basket and hide it somewhere in the yard, so first they had to search and find their food, then they got to eat it . . . 

They played with the animals

Cooked their food out there and we played some games. Jilli looks like she is throwing a fit but she was really laughing and having a great time . . .promise, she really was!

The next morning I set up a little kitchen for the girls to cook their breakfast outside. The adults were not allowed to cook because, when you play pioneer children the parents are always dead so the kids have to do everything themselves :)  

We had a great time again this year! This is definetly a favorite tradition at our house!
