So about a month ago Dalyn brought home some paper work that said he was being considered for the T.A.G. (talented and gifted) program offered in the county. He had to have permission slips, and do some testing to see if he qualified. Anyway he just completed the tests and we found out yesterday, HE MADE IT! He actually scored in the 98th percentile! Way to go D-Man!
He is thrilled. He gets taken out of his elementary school and bused to another once a week, where he gets to do a bunch of fun "extras" with other kids from the county in the program. It's pretty funny to listen to him, he is quite certain he is the smartest kid at his entire school, sixth graders included, of course wanting to keep him humble, we told him . . . he might be right :)!
