So my beans are spilled with a lot of you already. The news is . . . .I am pregnant!!! AHHHH, I did not know that was even possible, but about 3 weeks after my miscarriage I took a positive pregnancy test (and I have taken about 5 more since then over the last month all with the same result, only getting stronger) Any of the calculations I can do on the computer put me at about 6 weeks along already. . . WHAT!!!!! Don't worry I am not crying about this one, I just have to shake my head and give in to it. Apparently there is a baby that will not take no for an answer and is coming to our family NOW!!! Someone upstairs has a great sense of humor :)!
I have come to the reality that this is my life
One Hubby,
FIVE children,
2 dogs (yes, we still have chance AND we got a new puppy, another post all by itself),
2 cats,
Mud on my floor,
Food on my counter,
Dust on my . . . well everything
Pee on the toilet ( and probably the floor or wall or both)
Hand prints down my hall and around ALL the doors
Laundry piled somewhere, probably multiple somewheres
Sometimes my floors don't get mopped for 3 weeks (gasp)
Sometimes my bathrooms don't get cleaned for that long either (double gasp)
Sometimes I take a nap instead of cleaning
Sometimes I watch a movie instead of cleaning
Kids who had jello for breakfast
And dress themselves (they are so creative in their choices aren't they ;)
And do their own hair (Did I say "do", that might be a slight exaggeration, lol)
And something smeared on their faces (what is that stuff anyway, it is ALWAYS there?)
Sometimes I wonder why I bother with church (4 little monkeys jumping on the bench)
Sometimes I wonder what the heck people do without church
Sometimes I prepare my lessons the hour before I am supposed to teach
Sometimes I yell
Sometimes I cry
Sometimes I laugh
Sometimes I cuss
We don't always get along
We don't always pray
I exercise consistently and weigh 2lbs more then when I started 5 months ago
Probably because sometimes I eat cake for breakfast
Sometimes I am totally happy
Sometimes I wonder what the heck I was thinking

Sara!! I so totally love you!! Congratulations on the news. Crazy! I've never heard of that either. So quick!
We experience so many of the same things on your list at our house. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who will at times substitute cake for breakfast. lol
Thanks for the reminder that we're ALL human.
What ever...your incredible! Congratulations, and sorry this dosen't mean you get out of camp:). I am really happy for you, it seems like it's just supposed to work out.
WOW!! That is my life in a nut shell (well, four kids and not five and no pets) but that is the best way to describe a Mom. Good luck!
That is the best post ever. Congrats again on the pregnacy; I'm super excited for you but of course I don't live with them (JK)but that post is so true to life, I think you're perfect. So what if you sleep instead of clean and eat cake for breakfast? You take care of 4+ kids and do all that in one day, and then do it all over again the next day, I think you're superwoman.
As for the IV, ha ha yeah I'm a creep. I have tons of stuff at home. I'm almost a fully equiped ER, although I don't perform surgery, but if he'd let me I might attempt. JK.
Ha Ha!That post was awesome-and why do you only sometimes eat cake for breakfast? I'm makin cupcakes-I'll bring some over-breakfasts for the whole week! Just what that baby needs to get those cute little chubby thighs!
Sara- ILOVE that entry, it was so real. Totally true:) WEll, I already lost your e-mail address and I have a really good list of books for you. So here is my e-mail address, darcidowdle@comcast.net- send me a note and then I will bookmark you and send you this list. I have loved staying in touch with you better lately- you are a total ROCKSTAR, and I love & miss you!
Oh Crazy you. But if anyone can handle it it's you. It's very exciting. Wish you guys still lived closer. It was always fun hanging out with you at the park. Love your blog.
It's amazing how well I can relate! No gasping here, just oh yeah, me too! And guess what, oh well, joy in the journey right!
