So something wonderful happended over the summer break!
On Saturday July 6 our Ryan chose to be baptized!
The bad is that I have lost my camera and his baptism pictures were still on it :(
I am beyond sad!
He was just glowing he was so excited! He has been counting down to his baptism since he was 6!
I'm still praying we will find it but the reality is it could be any where between here and Charlotte, NC!
Another super BAD thing that happened this summer was my dad, papa, had a heart attack.
It was terrifying!
He spent a night in the hospital here in town then had to be transported over to Medford for surgery.
We all came to see him off . . .
He ended up with 6 by-passes!
The doctors found out he has the vascular systerm of an 80 year old!
He was in relativly good health with a pretty healthy diet and they said, that is what saved his life!
He is now on a pretty strict VEGAN diet!
It has been quite the adjustment for my parents but they are both doing really well!
The good is that the surgery went really well!
He has recovered VERY quickly AND he gets to retire!
It is a couple days from official, but he doesn't have to go to work ever again, and come Jan. 1 his retirement will kick in!
I'm so excited for my parents and this new chapter in their lives
