Happy Valentines Day!

We had another great Valentines Day this year.

The kids woke up to heart attacks again, only this year we got wise . . .Instead of spending $2.50 each for 5 packs of heart shaped post-its AND spending F.O.R.E.V.E.R. sticking each one up on the kids wall I found . . .Valentine TABLE COVERS!!!! At only $0.98 a piece they took about two minutes to stick up and we were done! GENIUS!And instead of spending DAYS and WEEKS cleaning up post-it hearts, the take down and clean up was pretty effort less.Valentine Breakfast was cute. . .I made heart shaped muffins and heart shaped scrambled eggs

The two cute Valentines I got to hang out with all day . . .The dinner was the same set up, only different food ;) . . .

I am not one to buy my kids gifts for every. single. holiday but I had decided at Christmas time that I wanted to get each of the kids their own pillow pet for Valentines. They have been enamoured by those silly things since they first came out but at $20 a piece x5, it just wasn't happening!
So I had been searching for a good deal. When Janie's preschool class was on a field trip at PetCo I found it. FIVE full sized pillow pets for $45!

I felt like I got a good deal anyway so that's what counts I guess! Jilli and Dalyn were out with Terry when I took these.

And this is what I got when they said they were going to do a silly pose . . .

I also did up a cute little basket for Terry. I individually wrapped each gift and attached a note to each one.

SO he opened . . .

-a Love Song CD and the note said -"HEY VALENTINE . . .lets dance!" and the note went on to invite him to our own private dance in our living room some night after the kids are asleep.

-a voucher for our local theater - "HEY VALENTINE . . . lets go on a date" and then it explained how we get to go to two shows at the theater.

-a movie-"HEY VALENTINE . . . lets have a movie night!"

-some bath salts (Terry LOVES him a good bath!) "HEY VALENTINE . . .how 'bout a nice quiet soak in the tub?"

-some massage lotion - "HEY VALENTINE . . . how 'bout a massage?"

-a pack of gum-"HEY VALENTINE . . . lets make out ;)"

-and a little something else too ;)

He loved it all and can redeem his "HEY VALENTINE" notes anytime! Makes valentines day last . . .well a few days anyway!

Hope you all had a great LOVE DAY too !
