Cute kiddies

Today is the last day of school for my kids. This morning I asked Raegan if she wanted me to do something cute with her hair. She said "No, I am going to leave it down because it makes me look older. When it is pulled up all cute I just look like a little girl."

I reminded her that she was a little girl. Then moved swiftly into tickle attack mode and asked what in the world she was doing trying to grow up so fast . . . stinker.

This is the cute kool-aid stand my kiddos set up the other day. We live on a pretty busy street where cars only zoom past and by the time they actually see the stand they are already past it, so no body ever stops. But this fact doesn't deter the kids. They set a stand up at least monthly in the summer . . . maybe someday they'll get lucky (notice the "tips" jar . . .so funny). In the mean time I save my quarters and have really developed a taste for kool-aid :)
