Twas the night before Christmas . . .

And we packed that day FULL!!!

First some of our awesome friends invited us to share in their family tradition of a movie on Christmas Eve. So we got to enjoy Tangled that morning, such a cute movie! The kids even got their OWN popcorn and drinks, they were in heaven! Then another family invited us to join them in their totally disgusting tradition of hamburger hog out at McDonalds. The idea was to see who could down the most plain burgers. I ate three and quit, but it was way fun, the kids loved it and only two people threw up! But when it comes to McDonalds, better out then in I always say!
As a group of 15 . . . SEVENTY-ONE burgers were ingested . . .ewwww! Then we headed to the old folks home near our house and graced them with our lovely voices ;)
We go every year and I am not how sure how graced they felt, but it is a fun tradition anyway! That night we had a fun candle light dinner at our house with my parents and brother and grandma then piled in the car, grabbed some hot cocoa for the drive and looked at all the pretty lights.
When we got home we opened our Christmas jammies and exchanged the gifts we made for each other, and did the Christmas Story . . .All my cute bebes in their jammies . . .Our gift exchange went great this year. The kids really got in the spirit and wrapped up pretty much every toy they own and gave it to a sibling. Their homemade ones turned out great too . . .

Janie gave Jilli blocks . . .
Ryan made Dalyn a giant floor checkers game (I made the board and Ryan did the game pieces) . . .
Raegan made Janie a necklace hanger . . .
And Dalyn made Ryan a bunch of wood puzzles (with help from dad) . . . Jilli had Raegan this year so of course that was all me, and I was running out of time and will so I indulged Raegans INTENSE love of anything sugar and especially chocolate and made her own box of homemade truffles . . .she liked it ;)

We also spent a lot of time doing this before Christmas . . .

Wii Party baby!
And lots of art at the table . . .

And then it was Christmas morning . . .
