oh boy oh Boise!

We headed to Boise to visit my sister over Memorial Weekend.
It is a tradition of ours to find a cemetery and walk around finding the soldiers and what wars they fought in, this year we stopped in burns for dinner and walked around the cemetery there . . .

These pictures are backwards from the order we actually did them, oh well =)
Before we headed out of town to go home we stopped at Chuck e. Cheese. The kids LOVE that place and we don't have one so it was a big treat for them . . .

After Church on Sunday we headed to the park for a picnic.
Dalyn organized a bunch of fun games for everyone . . . here they are playing "spud" . . .

Terry and I celebrated 12 YEARS! 12 Years people! wow we are old!
We went to this fancy french cafe then headed to a little playhouse in town. Torey braved all of our kids that night so we could have our date! THANKS UNCLE TOREY!!!
(yes my kids call my SISTER, UNCLE! long story)
Lucky Dog =)
There is a park in town with a hill called Camels Back, I think? After we went to the farmers market that morning we headed over there. This is the kids with the ice cream they got at this super cute old fashion ice cream place just down from the park . . .

After hiking up and down about 5 times (much to Terry's dismay) they finally stayed at the base and played in the sand . . .

Pretty Jilli . . .

Yes this is how Dalyn came off the hill . . .nice!

Janie made it the whole way by herself! I though for sure someone would have to carry her . . .Nope!

Half way there . . .

Getting Started . . .
First thing that morning we headed to the Boise farmers market down town . . .

While we were there Dalyn had a private chemistry lesson from Uncle Keith. This can not be my child. Lately he is fascinated by molecular structure and atoms. He spent all morning the other day drawing molecules for me . . .water, carbon dioxide, salt. He had all kinds of questions like what makes up the protons and neutrons and about the electrons and what joins all the particles together and about the nucleus? My answers were, " I learned that once buddy but I have no idea!" Lucky for him Keith is in organic chemistry right now and was happy to have a little one on one time explaining to Dalyn how it all works, now the kid can spout off facts I don't think I understood in high school! When we got home from our trip he got on the internet to learn more about it all and on his own decided to write an essay on atoms!
Oh and in case you were wondering the teeny tiny things that make it all up are called quarks =) He is amazing!

We had a blast! Thanks for letting us crash your pad Torey and Carol!!!!!We'll be Back =)
