All the Deets . . .

So here is what the Davis Fam has been up to. The pictures are in random order because blogger hates me. I used to be able to drag the pics around and put them in order but now it won't let me?

Look what I made!!! (just the purple one) Yes, I did too! I found these lined baskets at the fabric store and there were only 5 left so I grabbed them all. Two had the same color liner, and I couldn't have that so I used the repeat to make a pattern for the purple one! I even did the ties and appliques AND elastic . . .amazing! Now I just need to find someone with a fancy machine that can embroider the kids names on them for me, and I am all set for Easter!

WE PIERCED JANIE'S EARS!!!!
When I say we I mean TERRY AND ME!!!
ay, ay, ay it was scary! I chickened out about 5 times. We had Raegan's done at 6 months, it was cute but I really felt bad that she didn't CHOOSE to have holes in her ears, so I vowed with my next girls I would wait until they were old enough to ask.
Janie is WAY into princesses lately! She wears a princess dress pretty much every where she goes, she will wake up in the middle of the night crying for us to brush her teeth if it didn't get done before bed (she doesn't want witch teeth) and she eats all her veggies because they will make her eyes sparkly!
About 2 months ago she started asking to wear earrings, we told her she had to get her ears pierced first, so she grabbed her coat and said, "kay less go". The town we live in doesn't have any place to get little girls ears pierced the closest place is about and hour and a half away so we said she would have to wait (and she had to stop burping, cuz princesses don't burp . . . long funny story) ANYWAY a friend of mine told me she went to the beauty shop in town and got a self pierce kit for her baby, so I decided to to get one too. We were going to wait until we went to visit family, but she did not put that package down for four hours, she just carried it around and kept begging me to please, please, please pierce her ears now (she had no idea what that really entailed). So when Terry got home from work we did it! She cried a little but we cheered her up with sprinkles and she LOVES her earrings! She really won't let us near them to turn them or clean them though. 6 month olds are way easier to deal with ear piercings, SO we will do Jilli next month . . . if she doesn't like it she can CHOOSE to take them out and let them close up :)

Dalyn has been playing basketball. He loves it and is not too bad, it is definitely his first year playing. I don't have any during the game pics because we are busy cheering, I forget.

Here are the details of Raegan's Birthday! This year we decided to use party money to go to Portland and visit family instead. So we just did at home birthdays for her and Dalyn.
She decided she wanted to have a picnic at the park

Birthday spank'insHer requested Birthday dinner . . .And the cake. She wanted one from the store "with filling, and it can say, "Happy Birthday Raegan" with commas and stuff . . ."
Finally finished these four blankets for some free Disney tickets, YAY! Anybody want to join us in Sept or Oct?

Ran a 5k.
Finished . . .
NOT dead last, and I ran the whole time. I really didn't do horrible but there is DEFINITELY room for MUCH improvement!

The kids always wake up to balloons on their b-days, here are Raegan's (again with the blogger hating me)

I did a basketball cake for Dalyn. Doesn't it look like it is swooshing through the net? . . ."why yes that is EXACTLY what it looks like" ;)
His dinner was shrimp Alfredo and asparagus (yes that is what he wanted!) don't know why I don't have a pic? He and Raegan chose the breakfast too, his was french toast and BACON and Raegan picked french toast with stawberries and whipped cream and BACON.

Funny story about those gumballs! Its long . . .I am tired . . . so I am not telling it but just to be sure we will always remember I have to add the picture!

Took the kids to the circus! We got there way early and this IS the only picture I took because I had my hands over my eyes the whole time! For a HILARIOUS recap of Circus D' K-Town, go here.

The End!

You are such a good mom. Your kids are adorable. And you are so brave piercing your daughters ears!!! Elizabeth wants hers done, but I just keep telling her how much it will hurt. ;) I'm a great Mom. I just don't want to deal with it yet! :) I loved the pictures and the updates.
