Attention Please . . .

I would like to draw your attention to the little counter downer on the side bar of this bloggity.

Yes it is official, I am FULL TERM!!!!!

I have not posted anything really this entire pregnancy about the pregnancy, honestly because I really have not had two seconds to stop and think about it, not that it hasn't been on my mind, every minute of every day for the last YEAR!

When I hit 5 months I remember thinking there was no way I could make it to 9, I was sure I would go completely insane. The minutes have crept by at an alarmingly SLOW rate, and yet the end is nearly here already, time is weird like that.

I also haven't posted anything because, pregnancy and I are not friends. Pictures of me are not flattering right now, so WHY would I want to share with the world my (there is NOWAY I am telling you how much I gained, just suffice to know, you'd be SHOCKED!) heavier self. I only do this now, for posterity. My kids LOVE to look back at pictures of me preggo with each of them AND I do like to share glimpses into our life and it is what it is.

I am super excited to meet this new little bundle, the kids are thrilled too. We have no idea what to name her/him (Terry is not convinced it is a girl). The cradle is set up (even though I have no bedding), we have a car seat, the clothes are out but not washed or put away yet, I don't have a bag packed, BUT every blind and window seal in our house is cleaned, the beds have been stripped and sanitized, every blanket washed, and the walls and base boards will get a thorough going over, really I am driving myself crazy, if somebody could stop me please!

ANYWAY, here are just a few reasons to show that I am SO DONE . . .

Yes, he is painting my toes for me, what a gem

My done button has popped

I tie my shoes like this . . .

My toes are swollen to double their size and since there is no way I am posting a picture of my feet, here is a little visual, courtesy of our garden, take out the green color and it is a pretty accurate representation :)

Tums has become a food group for me

Just rolling over at night takes an enormous effort

I can not go more then 3 hours with out a potty stop

My wedding ring is a size 6 1/2, my "fat" ring is a size 7 1/2, I can not fit into either

Just in the last week these are two comments I have had the privilege of being on the receiving end of,

Lady at the check out line "So when are you due?"

Me, "Three Weeks"

Lady, "Ago?"

AND as I walked into the library with my kids the other day, this man says to me, as I walk past

Man, "Twins?"

Me, "You'd think, huh?"

Man, "Well my daughter had twins, and she ALMOST got that big!"

Me thinking, thanks buddy, why don't you just twist now that the knife is in?

In all I really can't complain, some people have it MUCH harder, but for me this has been the hardest one yet, for TONZ of reasons, and I am ready to be done, but cut me some slack because in all honesty is there really a women alive who at 37 weeks along says, "Oh man, I really wish I could stay pregnant for another couple of months, it's just so darn FUN?"

I think NO!

And just a little side note, you know if you include my little pre this pregnancy drama, I have technically been pregnant an entire YEAR! SO DONE!!!
