Our last summer hoorah was a little trip to Portland, we love that place!
Our first adventure was a ferry ride across the river.

Raegan asked every time we got in the car after that if we could ride on it again.
The county fair was our first stop. Lots of animals to look at

and smell :)

Little Old time Pioneer Indian Village

Complete with tepee tours

The kids made old fashion brooms

Did laundry, this MUST be documented

Even rang the dinner bellAnd what is a Indian village without . . . a lion???
Ryan was fascinated with this guy

And of course we had to indulge in fair food

By mid day Grae baby was done, doesn't Terry look thrilled, hahaha

Terry's brother and his wife let us crash at their house.
What a fun place on the River

Raegan said she wanted to stay there forever . . . "You can accidentally leave me here you know," she informed us

Terry got a chance to hang out with his brothers and learn all their crazy skills, numb chuck skills, bow hunting skills . . .

Girls only like guys with skills :)

We took the kids on MAX to the World Forestry Center

They got to practice para jumping Planted a few treesWent on a mock white water rafting trip

And an African Safari

THEN we went to a park in town complete with this awesome lava slide

After a while the kids figured out if they dumped water down the slide they went even faster

Sand and water, what more could a kid ask for? The blue poop picker upper bags were perfect for toting the water . . . good times, good times

In the same park was this fun set up too

And lastly we went to an community center that was more like a water amusement park

Such a fun trip and if you can believe it I didn't even get pictures of everything. Terry's family had a BBQ that was a lot of fun, and we got to visit with old friends who used to live in Klamath, AND we picked blackberries (of course when I say we I mean Terry :), TONZ of blackberries, 40 pints of jam resulted in that endevor YUM!
