but now it all begins, THE CANNING!
This is our second pass with harvest. The first is always used up really fast we gobble it up as fresh then we get bombarded and it is time to can.
Here are the kids so excited to pick our plenty, they didn't even wait until we were done watering.
This is just some of our stuff, there were lots more tomatoes but I have no idea where they went (wink)
And our pumpkins went crazy! This picture was taken a couple weeks ago and they are even bigger now. But last year when we spent a mint at the town pumpkin patch I vowed next time we would do our own, and we have at least 5 big pumpkins growing, YAY! (The pumpkins are the plants behind the kids)

It is a ton of work but really so worth it. I am amazed how much we used up last year, it will be nice to get it replaced. And home grown veggies are always UBBER yummier then anything else right?
Right.

I am so jealous. We tried to start our first garden this year and so far it has been a total disaster. Deer have come and eaten everything!
