Gems

Our little town has its very own minor league baseball team!
Sadly we only made it to one game. It was actually  cub scout night, so we met up with a bunch of friends who have boys in cub scouts too and enjoyed a fun evening watching some baseball. We even bought hot dogs and cracker jacks, cuz we just had too really  . . .

Lots of the kiddos . . .

Ryan got to meet the mascot himself ( I think his name is Tater?)
Anyway all through out the game, before the start of a new inning the cub scouts were invited onto the field to play some games and do a few competitions.
They got prizes and such. Some boys got baseballs, some got gift cards, others walked away with t-shirts, what did Ryan walk away with??
A fly swatter!
Yep, a fly swatter, of course he was thrilled though! I made a mental note never to take him to Vegas ;)

We didn't stay for the whole game, because as much fun as baseball is to watch, after about an hour and a half the kids were done. So we loaded 'em up and took 'em home.
We were glad to have gone and enjoyed the evening a lot!
GO GEMS!
