. . .and then, we got summer rolling in full swing.
The first item of business was the Stake annual Father and Sons Camp out.
The boys LOVE this. It is a tradition that they bring up foil dinners. It becomes their favorite camping meal but ONLY on the father and sons camp out. I can try to feed the same stuff to them another time and they act like I am trying to poison them.
They had a great time!
And as is tradition, when the boys are away, the girls will PLAY . . .
We ended the night with a mother/daughter sleep over at our good friends house. It is the only sleep over with friends our kids get to do so they get SO EXCITED about it every year. One year we skipped the sleep over part and you can bet I heard about it all year (truly, "Why didn't we do the sleep over this time?" "But we ALWAYS do the sleep over", "It's the only time we do sleep overs, why did we skip it?") So this year we made sure to do it. And of course it was tons of fun. sorry, no pictures :(

i never have time to look at people's blogs, but was waiting for my turkey trot pics to load in my email so I thought I would look. I have to say, that although we dont always have a lot of time to hang out, I sure love the fun things we do together! YOu are a great friend, I'm glad our kids are friends and I'll be so sad to leave you when we move (some day). Thanks for being the best!!!
